This is a Recruiting Problem

I think it's safe to say that David Cutcliff saw the writing on the wall. I blame this on recruiting. These QB's look like a deer in headlights. They can't read defenses, they can't check off at the line, and they can't move in the pocket.

And you can't really blame it on the so called "new system" because we haven't even started running it yet. How does a D 1 school with Tennessee's reputation, go from Eric Ainge, who could run the whole offense from the line of scrimmage, to 2 guys who can't even read the secondary. And even if they could read it, they dont know how to audible out, or even look off a DB.

Bama showed their hand on nearly every down before Stephens even settled in behind center, and he couldn't do nothing to change the play at the line. I don't even blame Clawson. Fulmer and I believe Sanders made the call on theese two.

I love the defensive effort though. You can't really say enough about what they have had to deal with.
