Arkansas vs. East Carolina Preview

2010 Liberty Bowl:
Arkansas vs. East Carolina
Prediction: Arkansas over East Carolina 40-24
Despite a mediocre 7-5 record, Arkansas is one of the most capable offensive squads in the country. Their defense, however, is suspect which is why the Razorbacks lost, as excepted, to their more balanced SEC rivals: Georgia (52-41), Florida (35-7), Florida (23-20), Mississippi (30-17), and LSU (33-30 OT).
However, all of these losses were to ranked rivals in the SEC and there is nothing to indicate that the potent Razorback offense, with its 4-0 non-SEC record, cannot handle a Conference USA opponent in East Carolina. The Pirates, with four losses in the C-USA including an inexplicable one to Southern Methodist (28-21), are in over their heads here.
