Terrible Officiating in Auburn - Arkansas Game

The official's in the Arkansas - Auburn game should be suspended, for there inability to make the right call in a game of that importance.

The officials in the 10/16/10 Arkansas - Auburn game (at auburn) have to be blind to give Auburn a touchdown when it was a blatant fumble by Auburn, and the ball never even made it to the goal line. The SEC in the last two year's have become the joke of college officiating specifically because of their ability to make unreal call's that aren't even close to whet happened on the play.

ARKANSAS AUBURN, OFFICIALS?

The Auburn fumble on the goal line. How about the "called fumble on Hrodric Green when his leg was clearly down on all replay veiws. It was not even close. I thought HORSE collor tackles were a personal foul, (Rayn Mallet out with a concussion) The replay is there for correcting bad calls. Of coarse a protest will do no good, just like last year. Seems like this happened last year with Flordia in two games that they LOST but where given the win. It's like the SEC crowns their champion before the season begins. Auburn will lose a big game and not win the SEC, just like Flordia last year. Poor Arkansas must think their in a reformed Southwest conference. COME ON MAN!!!!!!!

You can argue this either way, I mean lets be realistic here.... the pass interference on Washington in the end zone? The no calls in the end zone on some passes from Cam into the endzone that where clearly pass interference. I also did not know as a wide receiver you could push off the corner back... I mean come on officiating comes with the game. The "TD" on the one was a fumble agreed, but you should check your thought process on the other fumble his "knee" nor any part of importance on his body was on the ground it was on the defender, a call which has been ruled a fumble all year, and the horse collar rule is a joke anyway, I do not think I have even seen them make that call when it is a blatant one. I am not saying he did not use the horse collar just that you can go back into almost every game and find one example of this. The comment that annoyed me was that they pick the winner before the season ends. Seriously, Auburn??? When is the last time anyone has given Auburn any credit? They did not even get the credit in 04 when they went undefeated. Auburn is winning not because of officiating but because of determination, heart, and a great offence led by Cam.

Exactly what game are you watching & does your television not work or are you on a black& white because you do know they have these new tv's called flat screen with HD televisions!! Exactly how much of his "WHOLE LEG" has to b on the ground because his leg, butt, & every other part of his body was down!
But you know it's funny to me that this guy feels the need to bring up Auburns undefeated season to justify that game& the calls that basically handed them that game!!!!! Take those horrid calls away, the 21 pnts, the momentum & Auburn looses the game!!!!! Just admit that those calls were blatantly wrong just like the interferance call was awful but it was 2nd dwn & goal for Arkansas so they had another 2dwns to get in! Those calls gave Auburn TD's just a bit different my friend so b honest with yourself & just admit the obvious that everyone already knows!!!

Always poor SEC officiating for marquee teams

As a LSU fan, I have seen a myriad of questionable calls go against my Tigers when playing the Plainsmen in Auburn over the last 6 years. Did Chiznik discover Tuberville's warchest for paying off officials? Does the SEC commissioner tell the officials to not let a potential SEC BCS contender lose?

2004 They caled an LSU DB for landing on his teammate on a missed XP. May have been the ONLY time in history that call was made.

2006, an Auburn player draped all over Doucet gets a flag, deservedly. However, the officials claim the ball was tipped, which it was by a second DB downfield. That tip does not negate the ealier interference - holding - EXCEPT in Auburn

2007 - infamous chop block on Dorsey not even flagged by official - right there.

2010 Arkansas feels the wrath. Hopefully, their sacrifice will prevent such atrocipous referring two weeks in a row. Les Miles still has to play the right QB, or LS might suffer there first defeat without Auburn requiring any officiating help.

Arkansas got screwed and AUBURN DESERVES TO LOSE...THE SEC SUCKS

Auburn is a joke and won that game with Cam Newton rushing for 300 yards and the officials totally screwing Arkansas. That PI in the endzone on Washington was CLEARLY PI...he had his left arm WRAPPED around his back...come on man? I guess the previous post is an Auburn fan and needs something to help justify such bogus loss. Arkansas has been screwed 2 years in a row in 2 huge games. They would be better off joining the Big 12. The SEC is a joke...yeah it is good football but the officials make it seem like WWE Football...The fix was on and Auburn benefited most. Oh and one more thing for the Auburn fan above...HIS KNEE WAS DOWN A SPLIT SECOND BEFORE THE BALL CAME OUT...THE ANNOUNCERS SAID IT AND ANYONE COULD NOTICE!!!! Auburn will lose, they deserve to lose!!! Just like Florida last year, KARMA WILL CATCH YOU! OH AND GO LOOK AT THE STATS AND SEE HOW MUCH ARKANSAS DOMINATED THAT GAME. THEY ONLY THING AUBURN DID WAS RUN...THE SEC MUST HAVE A UNDEFEATED TEAM...MIKE SLIVE SUCKS ALONG WIHT THE REST OF THE SEC...I'M READY FOR SOME REAL FOOTBALL.

the SEC execs are behind it

The consistent pattern over the last several years is that the SEC powers that be are literally using officiating to control conference champions. There is no way so many atrocious "game changing" calls could have taken place over the last several years without the SEC Execs being behind it. It is my opinion that this has gone on for decades, but only with instant replays do we finally know for sure. The best conference in the nation? We certainly have the most crooked officiating and it is important to note that the SEC bars coaches from complaining and pointing out obvious and gross bad calls. It is my hope that every official who participates in calling games unfairly will suffer great hardship and unfairness in their personal lives as it is a terrible and cruel crime to literally rob hard working and deserving players of a fairly called game. Shame on the SEC and shame on the crooked officials. We have the tapes and replays so you can't hide and you can be sure your sins will find you out and you will eventually reap what you have sown.

You people have GOT to be kidding me? It must be realy easy to sit back and blame the officials for a loss. Have any of you people ever played a down of football not to mention officiated one?
It is not easy. We have the easy jobs of watching and acting like crazed lunatics when our team loses. Truth of the matter is yes bad calls are made, do I think Auburn got some bad calls, yes and they have been the receipient of a bad call as well. So has every team. I actually read someone claim that SEC refs are from Alabama therefore Alabma and Auburn ALWAYS benefit. Lol..... The LSU Auburn games over the course of several years went back and forth with controversial calls deciding the game and it went both ways and during the years Auburn lost, I acted like a grown up and not a sore loser. My motto is this "play well enough that the bad calls will not matter" and BTW, there is no way ARK was winning that game off of a few bad calls. Cam Newton would have scored enough to beat them regradless :) Now, if you hate the SEC so bad, then please petition your school to leave. I never understood why Ark wanted to be here anyway.

Seriously??? Arkansas deserved to win? They lost by 22 points! On the fumble call in the 4th quarter, there was a defender's arm CLEARLY under the Arkansas player's leg. If you didn't see it, go back and look. I'll give you the Fannin fumble. Ok, you only lost by 15. Congrats! I think Arkansas fans are upset that they can't hold on to their own state's recruits (Lee Ziemba, Michael Dyer, Kiehl Frazier) and it's killing them that they have an irrellevent football program. Good luck the rest of the way. I see a couple more losses coming your way.

Instead of complaining about some bad calls, why don't you just stop Auburn and win the game? No one is talking about how Auburn just trucked your defense all the way down the field before Fannin's fumble. Cam Newton made the Arkansas defense his girlfriend. All day long. He's still running. Auburn won it let it go! Sure there were some calls that could have went either way! Auburns offense is explosive but are defense sucks, but apparently Arkansas defense isnt much better. So enough with the "Arkansas deserved to win it" stuff if you win u win dont blame the calls exspesially if u lose by 21!

im not an sec fan, just a fan of the game. please auburn fans, quit with this nonsense. Arkansas was stripped the chance of a big win by this crew and the replay officials. I bet every one of you after seeing the replay, were in agreement that the plays would be called the other way, but now you act like arrogant fans that witnessed their team play a cleary weaker opponent....not true. as a college football fan, you were beat. Cam is great, but will be stopped at some point. So all of the sec bs and horrible officiating will go for not once again...

Arkansas gets screwed again

Auburn fans are smoking crack first of all Arkansas was screwed out of that win, Fannin clearly didnt score note the ball never crossed the plain of the goal line. Broderick Green was clearly down the commentators.were even shocked that wasnt overturned and by that time the Razorbacks wn re deflated because thy guys in the replay booth and the officiating crew were doing everthing in their power to keep Auburn undefeated. It is hard enough to win on the road in the sec but it is damn near impossible when you have to beat the officiating crew as well. This game was like the Florida gMe last year all over again. Congrats Auburn on being handed a victory you didnt deserve.

This is ridiculous!

One questionable touchdown call in a game won by 22 points does NOT "give away" a game. Pure and simple. Officials are human, therefore, mistakes are made. It goes both ways...all the time. Everyone knows that officials could call holding on just about every play. Instead of blaming officials for a game loss, try being realistic and admit that, on any given day, one team gets outplayed by the other. Not to mention that Arkansas lost by three touchdowns, not one. Also, how about the interceptions thrown in the fourth quarter? Hard to blame the officials on poorly thrown balls.
Arkansas is an excellent team. It was a thrilling game. Both teams should be proud of their performance. I doubt, however, that they would be proud of some of the comments made here, obstensively, on their behalf. Wishing bad things to happen in the officials' personal lives? I wouldn't want to have any association with a "fan" like that if I were a part of such a magnificent sports program.

Last time I was in math class 65 - 21 = 44. 44 to 43 would still put Auburn ahead. There were questionable calls on BOTH sides of the line and FWIW one angle clearly showed the AK players leg sitting on TOP of the defender's arm at the point where the ball appeared to be out of possession. Irrefutable evidence -- not "I'm pretty sure ...". Mallet's tackle was from the front (not the back), his left arm was in the air, and he was releasing the ball. Personally I would rather have had him remain in the game because the backup was better than he was ...

I'm not going to jump the gun and say that the game was rigged from the beginning, but i will say 3 pivotal miscalls and the game goes the other way. Arkansas was the better team in that game, Cam Newton was the best player. How many times do you see one player beat a team by himself? Never.... That being said Arkansas has no excuse for letting Newton run all over them, but they definitely were the better TEAM. To add my 2 cents on the comment about recruits going to Auburn.... I'll let you have Ziemba, We have one of the top O-Lines without him. Michael Dyer...replaceable, just look at the new and inspired Kniles Davis. And you have to be joking with Keihl Frazier...Mark my words, that kid will be the biggest flop in that recruiting class. I have watched him on multiple occasions. Below average arm and average size and speed. Line him up against SEC defenses and he will be show that he MIGHT be able to be second string on your practice squad. Or be like your other HUGE steal that came from Arkansas (Kodi Burns) I think we did just fine with that one too. I am looking forward to beating the HELL out of Auburn in Fayetteville next year!!!

Aubie lovers can have Michael (requested that he be called Mike) Dyer, loser Lee Ziemba and total bust Kodi Burns as well as Keihl (what kind of name is that) Frazier, Brandon Allen is better. Our O-Line is always solid, and did you see our back up QB dismantling your secondary? Wow!, you have another 2 years of that Auburn fans. When you come back to Fayetteville in 2011 (where you got stomped in '09) atleast it will be a fairly called game as we hand you your rearends. 'Bama is going to demolish you 11/26 in Tuscaloosa then you will lose to Florida and in 2-3 years will be stripped of all your wins this year b/c Newton will be found ineligible.
