SEC not very Impressive in Bowls in 2011
by Bill

The SEC, for being the self-proclaimed 800 lb. gorilla of college football, was not very convincing this year. As of Jan.8 and through 9 bowls, the SEC is a sad 4 wins and 5 losses. It will either end up at 4-6 or 5-5, depending on the the outcome of the Oregon, Auburn game. Not that this record is horrible, as the average every conference expects to finish in bowls is .500, but for the SEC, who think they stand heads and shoulders above the rest, this has to be demoralizing.
