Let the networks bid on the bowls. No one will complain if the season goes until the end of January. In fact, people will be even more involved than they already are in terms of talking about college football. The media will hype up certain possible games, such as Boise or TCU playing the winner of the Oregon-Auburn game, if Oregon and Auburn play each other this year.
Teams with one loss could challenge the loser of the Oregon-Auburn game. Keep the challenges going until there is one undefeated team left, or only one team with just one loss.
