I think the 1978 Steelers were the best pro team I ever watched.(granted the college game is more to my liking). That Steelers team had 10-11 hall of famers on it.
The steel curtain defense with Joe Greene, L C Greenwood, Jack Ham, Jack Lambert, Mel Blount was certainly one of the best ever.
On offense Terry Bradshaw was all-pro that year and Lynn Swann and John Stallworth might just be the greatest WR tandem ever! The great running game was built around Franco Harris and Rocky Blier.
The 78 Steelers blew through the playoffs until the Super Bowl were they defeated another all-time great team the Dallas Cowboys led by Roger Staubach 35-31.
Also that Super Bowl is still the best pro football game I've ever watched!
